I/We, the parent/guardian(s) of the above named candidate for a position on a Little League team, hereby give my/our approval to participate in any and all Little League activities, including transportation to and from the activities.
I/We know that participation in baseball or softball may result in serious injuries and protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to players, and do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless the local Little League, Little League Baseball, Inc, the organizers, sponsors, participants and persons transporting my/our child to and from
activities for any claim arising out af any injury to my/our child whether the result of negligence or for any
other cause. I/We will furnish a certified birth certificate of the above named candidate to league officials
upon request.
In order to assure that all participants and their parents are aware of the policy on behavior and discipline for Mesa Southern Little League, the Board of Directors is requiring each participant to agree to the following behavior policy.
Rules of Behavior:
No flagrant misuse of equipment or school property.
No swearing or other abusive language.
No use of alcohol or any tobacco products.
No talking back or disrespect to any coach, manager, umpire or league official.
No further warnings will be issued.
Penalty:1st Offense - The player will be immediately ejected from the ongoing game by the coach, manager, umpire or league official. The infraction will be recorded in the official scorebook and signed by the coach/manager, umpire and league official.
2nd Offense - The player will be ejected from the ongoing game and suspended from playing the next two (2) games following the game he/she was ejected from.
3rd Offense - The player will be ejected from the ongoing game and suspended until a hearing of the MSLL Board can take place to determine what permanent action will take place.
ADULTS ARE TO ABIDE BY THE SAME RULES! Players need to have a good example set for them. If for some reason anyone feels an adult is not complying with these rules, please bring it to the attention of a league officer. Their numbers are listed at the top of the schedule of games given to each player, or call the main league number @ 602-292-1681.
We also wish to remind all parents and fans that games are played on school property where alcoholic beverages and all tobacco products are strictly prohibited. Also, school fields must be left clean. Please take the trash around you to a garbage can when you leave the field. Please refrain from swearing at coaches, players, umpires and league officials. Anyone violating the above will be asked to leave the park, and, if necessary, escorted out of the park by the MESA POLICE.
